Cancellation conditions

If borders are open and mandatory quarantine can be avoided by tests, free cancellation is not possible.
In the event that the borders close before the start of your rental, partners in Croatia are ready to issue a letter of credit in the amount already paid (credit is valid for the nautical season 2021, some partners also offer credit for 2022). Partners also offer the option of credit if you are placed in mandatory quarantine and cannot take a test to avoid it. If the new term/vessel is more expensive than the originally selected one, you have to pay the difference in price. Credit can be used for a new sailboat rental exclusively within the fleet of the selected charter operator. If the new chosen date is cheaper, some charter operators refund the difference.
If you wish to cancel a booking for subjective reasons (for example, fear of infection), cancellation is only possible in accordance with the general terms and conditions of the charter operator.
We handle everything on a case-by-case basis, and try to come to an agreement with each guest on a favourable solution or change of booking to the satisfaction of our guests. We always try to be as flexible as possible.

Payment terms and conditions

Given the current situation, most of our partners in Croatia are willing to adjust payment terms and conditions. Generally, they require 20% to 30% upfront payment at the time of booking, and the rest a month before arrival. If the situation is still critical a month before your rental, please contact us. In this case, we often come to an agreement with our partners to delay the second part of the payment up to a few days before the rental. When arranging payment terms and conditions, we consider our guests' wishes.

Charter operators' preventive measures to reduce infections

Considering the current situation, our partners in Croatia have also adapted, as they pay special attention to the recommendations of the health organisation: additional disinfection of sailboats, additional disinfectants on board, only one person (skipper) can take delivery of the sailboat, limited number of people at the reception, etc. Of course, the health and well-being of our guests are our priority and the priority of our partners.
