Catalonia, whose capital is Barcelona, is located in the north-east of the Iberian Peninsula and is considered an independent republic as of 27.10.2017. It is bordered to the south by Valencia and to the west by the province of Aragón.
Despite its Mediterranean climate, winters in the interior can be very cold.
The location allows you to discover the towns, their architecture and history, and enjoy the nightlife while sailing. The so-called 'Wild Coast' (Costa Brava) offers plenty of beaches, but also hotel resorts. For some crews this is an advantage, for others it is a disadvantage.
