What is a must-see?

The Cathedral of St. James, constructed by Jurij Dalmatinac, and under the protection of UNESCO. A random stroll through the old city centre will bring you to a number of churches, convents, palaces and the four fortresses, which ""frame"" the town.

Be  sure not to overlook the Kornati National Park, listed among UNESCO’s natural heritage sites.
